Espirit de Corps

Here's a toast from Vikram Merchant that epitomizes the spirit of the class of '73 and succinctly captures the mood for the november weekend reunion. The party was unofficially launched last night and hosted by maestro Viks: "Outstanding evening! Nina, Jo, Rashmi, Neville, Mandy and master of memories, Behram, were the stars. Rupande made a fleeting appearance. Viks and I were adjudicators. Enjoy, Vikram."

  3. Ahuja looks pretty much the same apart from the thicker waist,
Merchy speaks with modulated tone and still has refined taste,
Jo is as we remember her businesslike and brisk,
While to comment on Neville then versus now I simply cannot risk!
Rupande's face looks older now by a year or two,
But Rungta is frozen in time circa 1972!
Rashmi and Nina the Barham beauts have barely changed at all,
Mandu's still the smiling kid and still having a ball!
But as for me, I've aged a ton ,no hair, less teeth,no tact!
We met again on Saturday and found our bonds intact!

Behram you remember me being "business like and brisk"?? Now that's a new one! But yes, getting you guys to focus on some of the work that needed to be done...I had to don that hat this weekend. Have to admit tho... beautifully written -Behram Wordsworth Gamadia.. way to go!

  10. Behram and Munna Two with such eloquence in one batch We just have to be the best. I must say that the guys have mellowed a teensy bit and allowed us gals to get a few words in sideways. And it felt like guys and gals again No half a century behind us. A lovely evening mmmm!
